Dear Class of 2017 Students and Parents:
Please note the following IMPORTANT INFORMATION as we enter your last 2 weeks of high school:
Request final transcript for college:
Don't forget to visit the Registrar's office to request your FINAL transcript be sent to the College/University you will be attending in the fall. Please bring a stamped/addressed envelope and indicate which college you will be attending in the senior binder.  All final transcripts will be mailed out in late June/ early July. TPHS is not responsible for postage.
Complete your Senior Surveys in Naviance:
All seniors are required to complete 2 surveys in order to complete their senior check out process. These surveys are available now and can be found in the student's NAVIANCE account, under the "About me" tab.  Please remember to complete BOTH surveys.
To access surveys:

 1. Log onto NAVIANCE (
 2. Click on "About me" Tab
 3. Select "graduation survey" and "graduation survey II" on left column.
 4. Complete BOTH surveys

Remember, you can only access these surveys through your student account, not the parent account.
Senior Check out:
The Senior Checkout process - In order to graduate, you must complete the following steps:
1. Friday, June 9th - Pick up your Senior Checkout Form under the Pavillion starting before school. Get signatures and grades from all 1-3-5-7 teachers. 
2. Library & Student Store - Clear any fees.
3. NAVIANCE - Complete BOTH Graduation Surveys.
4. Monday, June 12th - Get signatures and grades from all 2-3-4-6 teachers. 
5. LAST STOP: Turn in your completed form to your Counselor on Monday, June 12th. Counselors will be in front of the College & Career Center during lunch and after school. This is required to complete your Senior Check Out Process. Please note that seniors cannot, under any circumstances, check out prior to this time.
Congratulations Class of 2017, you are almost there!
All TPHS students interested in attending MiraCosta Community College (MCC) must enroll in MCC and create a SURF account.  The application takes approximately 20 minutes and may require information provided by your parent or guardian.

On Thursday, May 11th we hosted a Junior Parent Night for all of our Torrey Pines High School junior parents.  If you were unable to attend, please review the PowerPoint presentation and handout.  
*Please make sure your parent email address is updated in Naviance since most of our parent and student communication is forwarded through Naviance. If you need to create a parent account or update your email address, please follow the following Naviance instructions.

Catapult is an incredible opportunity and they just opened applications for their Spring & Summer 2017 Incubators. Catapult develops and invests in future game-changers, changemakers, and business disrupters. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis until the cohorts are full, so you should apply as soon as possible.

Quick Overview:

  • 3 month immersive entrepreneurial experience for high school students from across the country.
  • Build skills and a mindset to dominate problems now and in the future.
  • Work with world-class mentors and specialist to get help on legal, branding, and design.
  • Learn to talk with customers, build a revenue model, experiment and iterate on your idea.
  • Demo Day (final pitch) - think Shark Tank!


Apply as a Founder or Free Agent:


  • Founders - have a startup idea and will gain a team to help them scale or launch.
  • Free Agents - have an interest in business will become part of a startup team.
