Off-Campus Lunch Policy

Torrey Pines High School is a closed campus for students in grades 9 and 10. Students in these grades are to remain on campus from 7:40 am through 2:35 pm. 
Students in grades 11 and 12 are allowed to leave campus during lunch time. Students are expected to return and be in their next class on time. This is a privilege that can be revoked if a student is involved in a disciplinary manner related to being off-campus. 
Students who are off-campus during the school day are subject progressive discipline as it relates to truancy. Additionally, San Diego Police may issue a citation for daytime loitering. Repeated truancy violations will be considered defiance and will be addressed as such with the school's administration.
