Testing Programs

Each year our students are involved in various assessments that are designed to support our school in ensuring we are meeting our goals as they relate to academics, social, and emotional development that is considered age-appropriate by experts in the field. PSAT INFOrmation

For the 2023-2024 PSAT Information is located on the SDUHSD district website. It contains sign-up links, preparation options, and a day of checklist.

Also, look to the College Board's website for details on why students should consider the assessment, expectations, format, and more.

Communication Sent on Friday 8/26:

TPHS Juniors PSAT/NMSQT Information- Registration for the 2023 PSAT/NMSQT® is open until September 1, 2023. 11th grade students attending SDUHSD schools must register by September 1, 2023, to sit for this exam. The exam is scheduled for Saturday, October 14, 2023. The PSAT/NMSQT® is the National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test for grade 11 students and is administered only once per year. Advanced placement (ap) testing:

SDUHSD, like all other high schools in the nation, is part of the AP Exam Registration program. This program includes instructional programs for the AP Course, as well as new tools for those students who choose to take the optional AP Exam corresponding to the course they are enrolled in.

Fall AP Exam Payment and ordering for May 2024 closes on October 5, 2023.
