Parking Permit Policies
Parking permits are required to park on campus. Students who wish to park on campus must first take a Start Smart class with a parent/guardian before they are eligible to receive a parking permit. After taking the class, students must fill out the 2026-27 Student Parking Permit Application (to be posted on August 1, 2026) and go to the Student Store to obtain the permit with a valid TPHS Student ID. Please Note: only current TPHS students can access the parking permit application and it must be through their my.sduhsd.net e-mail address. Parents cannot access the form from external e-mail addresses.
If a student has already taken the Start Smart Class they do not need to take it again. Simply fill out the current year Parking Permit Application and go to the student store.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to high demand and a limited number of passes, families will be issued only one pass. If a student is driving a car they do not normally drive, they must obtain a temporary permit from the student store.
Start Smart classes can be taken at any SDUHSD campus and only need to be taken one time. Below are the 2026-27 TPHS Class dates:
